Laboratory Grown Diamonds

The team here at Medley remain committed to ethically sourcing and crafting our jewellery. As part of our drive to provide high-quality diamonds, we are proud to introduce the use of laboratory grown diamonds.

Laboratory grown diamonds are diamonds that possess the same carbon atoms and chemicals as their naturally formed counterparts. They are created with the same compound, optical properties and crystal structure as mined pieces, but ensure that we’re avoiding unlawful practices and conflict zones. Laboratory grown diamonds display the same level of hardness (10 on the Mohs scale) and beautiful sparkle that people love about natural diamonds.

The main difference between our laboratory grown treasures and mined diamonds are their origin. This empowers you, the consumer the choice to choose! Our laboratory grown diamonds are crafted using advanced, proprietary techniques and equipment which ensures their brilliance and quality.

How to Clean Laboratory Grown Diamond Jewellery

Wash Gently

Give your diamond jewellery a bath in warm soapy water for about 20 minutes to remove any built-up dirt and oil.

Use a Polishing Cloth

You can scrub the stones in your piece very gently with a soft brush (like a baby's toothbrush) but be careful not to scrub the metal setting too much. Rinse your diamond jewellery and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Admire that sparkle!

What NOT To Do

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

Diamonds are extremely hard, but remember, don't use any harsh chemicals to clean your diamond jewellery (household cleaners have no place here!).

Avoid Hard Surfaces

Banging your diamond against a hard surface could cause damage, so don't be reckless.
