Our machinery

Your precious jewels deserve the best, so we use a state-of-the-art laser engraving machine. Laser engraving gives ultimate precision and high definition results.

We do it locally

We have a small team of engraving technicians who work on site in our office in Brisbane, Australia, to get your perfect, personalised piece ready and sent to you.

Our Head of Manufacturing, Grant, says, “all of our engraving for Medley is done right here in Brisbane. The use of laser lets us achieve those precision, seamless results, and our state-of-the-art machine means your new piece of jewellery can be engraved for you quickly and easily.”

How it's done

1. First, your piece of jewellery is positioned under the laser.

2. Your chosen initials, name, or message are sent directly from our website to the machine (nifty!), so this ensures your message is inscribed as exactly as you want it.

3. Your message is engraved by the laser using heat. We use a light touch setting so that there’s minimal impact to the jewellery, and this is kind to plated pieces too.

4. Once the engraving is done, your jewellery is washed in a steam bath (pampered, much?) to clean it and secure the plating.

How long does it take to engrave my jewellery?
Please allow up to 3-5 business days on top of our standard delivery timeframes, for your piece to be perfectly personalised and delivered to you.

What can I get engraved?
We have a few engraving options depending on the jewellery style you choose, ranging from 1 – 7 uppercase letters or 1 – 10 lowercase letters. You can also choose from two different fonts (bold or cursive) to complete your signature piece.
