The Holiday season is here, and a summer Christmas calls for sparkle, colour, and effortless styling ready for a sun-soaked day of food, family, friends, and celebration. As a mum of three, business owner, and part of a big, tight-knit family, @emileehembrow knows a thing or two about creating a stylish, yet laidback Christmas celebration. She does so amongst a busy schedule, all the while focusing on what’s most important – fun and quality time with loved ones.
We asked Emilee for a sneak peek into her Hembrow family Christmas, what she’ll be wearing, and what her top jewellery Christmas gift ideas are this year.
Emilee on The Perfect Australian Christmas
Medley: Christmas is such a busy time of year, as a business owner and with a big family, how do you prepare in the lead up to Christmas?
Emilee: I love the time of the year and it is definitely a balancing act having a business and juggling the kids. I try to be as organised as possible. In the lead up to the busy month of December I try to prepare as much as I can so that I don't have a mad rush at the last minute. I like to think of outfits and gifts, book in event dates, and lock in key dates for work also.
Medley: We love that your family is so close, what does a typical Christmas at the Hembrow’s household look like?
Emilee: We have a couple of Christmas traditions that we like to do every year with the family. We go to Tammy's (@tammyhembrow) house, wear matching family pyjamas and put her Christmas tree up. It is really nice, with lots of Christmas music, dancing, food and laughs. Then we do Christmas cookie-making every year at my house. Again with lots of dancing, food, and decorations followed by dinner. Then of course on Christmas Day we always have a family lunch, which is so nice all together!
Medley: When celebrating Christmas, how do you like to style your table setting?
Emilee: Every year I like to change it up, I like to browse Pinterest for some great ideas. I love flowers, I think that with flowers down a table you can't go wrong. If you are after something that will last longer, I also love fake plants on top of a table runner. Have fun with it and don’t take it so seriously, add in some Christmas ornaments or beautiful candles.

On Style For a Summer Christmas
Medley: You always have such great style, what would be your top style tips for Christmas Day outfits, and what Medley pieces would you wear with it?
I love to wear a beautiful maxi, something that’s comfy to wear the whole day but also super chic and summery, as it’s super hot on Christmas at the Gold Coast. I am currently loving some pieces from AJE, Country Road, Dissh and Zimmermann.
I would most likely wear my 'Mama' Medley necklace with my chosen outfit, as it goes with everything and I just love the fine chain with the sparkling diamond 'Mama' popping out. It's so beautiful and I feel like it's very fitting for a day full of love and family.
Medley: We always love seeing you in your Medley pieces, which one would you say is your favourite?
